Briefing

Some people feel the best way to prevent deforestation is to stop using forest products. In reality, people use forest products every day. So FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) harnesses market demand to ensure forests are responsibly managed. Because FSC is the gold standard in forest certification, it is the only system supported by groups such as WWF.

We were asked by WWF to develop instore materials for retail chain stores to make consumers opt for products (such as outdoor furniture) made of sustainable wood with the FSC logo on it.

Insight

If we all choose FSC wood, we'll save the forests. And if we save the forests, we'll save the animals in it. Makes sense, right? That's why we used big eyed animals to invite customers to open up their eyes when purchasing wooden products.
